Even if you live close by, you may want to check out the lovely mountain lodges near our venue in Evergreen!  It is a great little town that is quite a hot-spot for exploration with hiking, biking, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and more.

The place Ian and I will be staying is the Alpen Way Chalet.

Gorgeous little place that has been remodeled by a very busy couple.  It was in contention to be our venue for a couple hours (before we went to the Humphrey House).

Let us know if you’ll be staying an evening or two there!

Planning a wedding in several months can become a bit of a task when it comes to finding a venue.  Fortunately, Carey (Ian’s mom) knew of this wonderful place in Evergreen!

After the wonderful games, family, friends, and fun, we are flying off to San Francisco!Golden Gate Bridge Suicide Barrier Ian lived in San Francisco, attending school and then working, for many years.  While there, we plan to check out the sites, sounds, and food (fish, all of the fish) San Francisco has to offer.  We will spend about three days here, so we are open to suggestions on places to explore, too!

After the excitement in San Francisco, we are headed to Napa Valley, wine country.  Here we plan to relax at the resort, maybe do a spa day.  Uber around wineries for tastings and collecting.  Find art installations and sculptures.  Go kayaking up the Napa River.  And generally just enjoy the area.  We will spend five days in this beautiful part of the country before returning to our teacher lives.
